What We Support

ORGANIC - for so many reasons. The PLANET and NUTRITION are tied for first place.

-->THE PLANET: We love this place we call home. We are grateful for the miracle of life. Industrial farming (non organic farming) is one of the biggest reasons for the destruction of our planet. Industrial farming uses more water and fossil fuels than any other industry. It strips the soil of nutrients, leaving the land like a big dust bowl; unfertile and unusable for our food production. With populations growing and usable land mass decreasing - this creates a major problem. On top of it all, the pesticides and fertilizers used in industrial farming contaminate our water and then spread out to the planet. Everything in the world is recycled. Water travels from this continent to the next, it is the "blood" of the planet and we have been contaminating it in a very wasteful way. Organic farming, on the other hand, is a perfectly working machine, designed by mother nature to keep nutrients in the soil, keep our water healthy, and therefore keep more nutrients in our food. Organic farming is an effort to preserve this planet for generations to come. Why did we ever think there was any other way?

--> NUTRIENTS: The health benefits and life force energy of organic food surpasses the industrial counterparts by far. Industrialized food is heavily processed from the creation of the actual seed and beyond. Genetically Modified Organisms plague the planet, containing pesticides and all sorts of dangerous factors in the seeds themselves. We don't even know the magnitude of what these nasty things do to our digestive system, planet, ecosystem - however, what we do know is that there has been a significant rise in digestive issues as a result. Gluten for example, is a natural component of Wheat. Wheat that is now produced in the United States has been mutilated, contains a pesticide in the seed itself, contains way more gluten than the Mother Nature version and is causing digestive issues all over the country. Lets think about the life force energy of these foods for a moment. One is made in a condition where the actual process of creating the seed started in a lab by people with questionable motivations, thinking only about short term profits and not long term sustainability. Then these seeds are planted in soil that is basically being stripped of its vitamins and minerals only to be left as a dust bowl later, grown in a way that is actually less productive per square foot than any organic farming method - wasting water and fossil fuels, harvested before its ready so it looks pretty and tastes gross when it arrives to the grocery store. On top of being constantly processed with a variety of pesticides and fertilizers that then contaminate our planet, rain water, oceans, etc. That way carries a life force energy that is destructive, depressive, and barely alive. The other is made the way Mother Nature intended, pulling the vitamins and minerals from the nutrient dense organic soil, and preserving the delicate balance of the planet. These foods enrich us, they make us feel healthier, happier. They create a healthier, brighter, more vibrant society and a more sustainable future.

THE LOCAL FOOD MOVEMENT - The local food movement (slow food movement) helps us take back the land, helping us feel more connected to the food we eat. It helps us improve our relationships amongst our community, get fresh foods and thus more nutrient dense foods, reduces the carbon impact, and creates a sense of responsibility for our local community.

NUTRIENT DENSE FOODS - we aim to source the most nutrient dense foods on the planet. Raw, unprocessed, mineral, vitamin antioxidant rich foods. We can change the way we FEEL by changing our health. So many people are depleted of nutrients - feeding on fast food channels and heavily processed foods. Eating nutrient rich foods revitalizes us, provides us the with the nutrition that nature intended for us. We aim to produce products that add to our health, not deplete it.
